Due to the high measuring range of up to 50 m / s of the wind speed meter, stormy gusts can also be monitored. The radio range of the wind speed meter is in the open field up to 750 m / 2500 ft in the free frequency band of 2.4 GHz. When installing the display of the wind alarm PCE-WSAC 50W in buildings, a range of up to 60 m / 200 ft can be achieved for the wind sensor.
