The Ash Content Analyzer / Incinerator is mainly used to determine the ash content of plastics. The device can intelligently control time and temperature in the individual sections of the heating process. It is suitable for determining the ash content in polyethylene, polypropylene and polybutene plastics.

The ash content of plastic samples (plastics, plastic composites) is accessible as a mass or mass fraction after direct annealing of the sample. The sample is burnt by the Ash Content Analyzer / Incinerator at high temperatures. Subsequent annealing ensures that the combustion residue has been completely converted into ash that cannot be burnt any further.

In addition, the heating time is shown on the display of the Ash Content Analyzer / Incinerator, which enables precise monitoring of the entire process and helps the user to maintain complete control of the test procedure at all times.
