The Xgard IR Carbon Dioxide Meter is a rugged, explosion-proof gas sensor for hydrocarbons or carbon dioxide. The Xgard IR gas detector is available in different versions, depending on which gases it is to be used for. The gas detector measures the respective gases using a dual wavelength infrared sensor. The Xgard IR can easily be connected to existing measuring and warning devices via the 3-wire 4...20 mA output. The gas detector continues to impress with its easy installation and maintenance and has a robust housing made of aluminum and stainless steel, which is also protected to IP65.
