The illuminometer is designed for measuring the luminance of self-illuminating surfaces, such as monitor matrices, TV screens, negatoscopes, reading boards, etc. e.g. monitor matrices, TV sets, negatoscopes, reading panels, etc. The illuminometer guarantees an accurate measurement, regardless of the spatial distribution of the measured luminance or the backlighting of the surface to be tested. It is indispensable for checking medical screens and negatoscopes.
