The fully automatic iPR HR² (High Resolution) digital refractometer continuously measures the refractive index and thus the concentration of solids in solution or the mixing ratios of binary or quasi-binary liquid mixtures. They are especially designed for the control of liquids with very low solid concentrations (e.g. light drinks) and they have a very high resolution and accuracy.
The iPR HR² is a stand-alone process sensor with integrated electronics. Its special design and electronic equipment make it highly flexible and easy to handle. The device is programmed via WINDOWS based software. Optionally, a data logger is available. The iPR measuring head can be installed in pipes, reactor vessels, mixing tanks, kettles, boiling pans and evaporators, using different weld-in flanges.
