The noise meter / sound meter is a small handheld device with many functions such as peak measurement, Leq value calculation and adjustable measuring ranges. In addition, the noise meter / sound meter can freeze the largest measured value with the MAX function so that you can really judge whether a limit has been exceeded. The special feature of the noise meter / sound meter is the Leq value which, after entering a time, displays the equivalent continuous sound level, i.e. the time average of all sound events within an observation period.
